The upcoming Beta #17 build will bring a few storage related changes with it that might affect some of the existing user-base in a negative way (unless they are prepared ahead of time, which is why I'm now writing this notice ahead of time).

Quite some time ago I enabled adoptable storage as an option to allow users to extend their 32GB built-in storage for app-usage, but today I have to make the sad announcement that this feature will be going away (temporarily) starting on the next build.

After a rather long debugging session today I've found that this broken feature is partially responsible for several app-crashes that have been reported in the past... and given the fact that I prefer to provide a stable experience for all of you over a buggy one my hands were forced this time.

To sum it all up: Should any of you currently be using adoptable storage, please back up your data, go into your storage settings and format your MicroSD cards as portable storage to ensure proper functionality after a dirty-flashed Beta #17 upgrade (which should be coming very soon).

And as always, I will keep you guys posted.

PS. If you don't use a MicroSD card or don't know what adoptable storage is, then disregard this message as you're most likely not using it anyway and should be unaffected by this change.
