Moving along swiftly I see. Good job! Thanks man!

"Adoptable storage" does that mean SD cards now work?

Anonymous

Neato, much appreciated, the 32gb of internal storage is simply not enough these days.

blackseraph

It means that Micro SD cards can now be used as internal storage. (AKA. for apps)

Updated.. thank you again :) no issues that I can see so far :)

XD I found out why otg storage doesn't work, it's exfat, you didn't port it over from Clean rom yet did you. :)

blackseraph

Actually I did... But thanks for pinpointing the exact cause. I'll look at it ASAP. Something must be wrong there then.

Was able to update my controlls work for in game while playing emulators but for frontend like RetroArch and retrox it will not let me use them for the menu part for selecting games.

Anonymous

They work fine when I play the games but in RetroArch it does not work right in the menu part for selecting the games.

Anonymous

Using the controls on the gpd to control the menu on RetroArch.

Anonymous

how do i install twrp? plz help

blackseraph

You unpack the TWRP split 7zip file, then reboot to recovery and select the zip file from the install menu.

Anonymous

nvm ill ask again if im stuck

blackseraph

I'm not sure what to tell you. I have my unit right in front of me right now and it works fine. All I can think of is that you didn't map the buttons correctly somehow?

So I noticed huge battery drain yesterday. I was messing about with getting the controls working for C64.emu ( had around 56% ) at the end of the day it was dead. I`m used to it going for days in sleep mode.. Has that stuff been implemented yet ?

Anonymous

Just the stock image.. then I installed some emulators.. C64, Dosbox etc

blackseraph

I only use RetroArch really (I like having all emulators in one clean interface), so I don't really have too much bloat on my unit.

Anonymous

I do notice battery usage data isn`t available ( is that a prob or just because I haven`t used it enough yet )

blackseraph

I'm currently at work so I don't have the means to check but I'll verify later.

Anonymous

right oh.. no rush.

blackseraph

Don't worry. I just tend to reply via the Patreon mobile app when I can (worktime or not).

Anonymous

I just have the same emulators installed ( actually less ) than I did before.. Auto sleep kicks in pretty quick.. whatever the stock settings are as I never changed them.

blackseraph

I noted it down on my to-do list, even though I don't have an issue like this yet, just to make sure it won't get buried in other stuff. Maybe we can figure out what's causing it for you.

Anonymous

Yeah i`ll try that. Shall I format data in TWRP before hand?

After a fresh install, all seems to be working well, although, I can’t seem to find the Leanback (Android-TV style) launcher that was included in the previous release of CleanRom. Is there a means of sideloading it or is it something that is coming in a later Lineage OS update down the line? In the meantime I’ve been using HAL Launcher but I’d prefer to use the latter down the line.
