Given the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 is my personal phone (and has been for a year, it's a real beast after all) I've taken the time to port a good (as in, not MIUI) ROM to it over the last 3 days.

The device and vendor trees, as well as kernel source code, have been made available over on my Github page.

For those that just want to fetch a working pre-built ROM, you can find compilates over at the project's dedicated XDA topic right here.

If you wish to say thank you, or want to see future projects like this, please consider donating a few bucks via Ko-Fi or go the whole nine yards and become a patron.

Is this for the GPD XD Plus?

No. This is for the Mi Max 3 (as the name in the post hints at). I've had this phone for a while and was discontent with the bloated OS it came with, so I quickly ported a proper clean one to it. Unlike my work on the XD+ this one had a lot less roadblocks to deal with though.

My max 3 should be here in 7-20 days. I just need the cam to work well so I can start releasing more tuts and guides.

Lucky for you. I ported the MIUI camera in there. As a cherry on top I also enabled the Camera3 HAL / Camera2 API, so you can use a variety of Google Camera ports if you want as well.
