This release unlocks all Wi-Fi channels / frequencies for use.

This will please (mostly) european users where 5GHz channels 100-140 (DFS) are in heavy use (which were previously software-blocked, preventing you from using them).

Furthermore, the back-button anti-repeat algorithm has seen some re-working, which hopefully should help users with bad back buttons have a somewhat more pleasant time with their device by swallowing unwanted button repeats.

The algorithm is still far from perfect, but it should swallow most of the bad button presses.

I am unable to flash this via TWRP, It gets stuck on extracting /system for some time, then says failed to mount system in red text. I was able to still boot back into android after this. However I decided to try again, and this time it failed in the same way but now I am stuck on gpd boot logo.

Does the TWRP method allow you to keep all installed applications and config? I've just updated the 2.0.1.2 factory fresh and installed all the apps/roms/config so keen not to go through all the set up again....

TWRP updates will keep all your data intact. Just make sure you toggle the system writable first.

How does one know which version is installed? In the system settings it only says clean rom 2.0.1.

Have you tested this without Google apps(not this particular revision)? I'm interested in moving to microG, but deleting Google apps from /system/priv-apps results in a bootloop.

This most likely has to do with Provision, the AOSP equivalent of the Google First Time Setup, missing in the ROM. This app needs to be restored prior to moving from Google apps to MicroG, or the build.prop properties for the first time setup being set to DISABLED. In the long run I'll probably just provide multiple builds so people can just pick a Gapp-less one, but given the fact that a clean build takes me somewhere between 2-3 hours to compile, and the fact that TWRP and SPFlash builds count as separate builds, would mean that I now have to build 4 builds just to serve both the Gapp and MicroG / Gapp-less users, which would mean 8 hours build-time.

With this version, my 5 GHz network is no longer showing up. I'm in the US and on a standard channel. It worked fine on 2.0.1.2. I do see my 2.4 GHz network.

Update to this version from 2.0.0 removed all 5GHz WIFI support. My wifi runs on 149 channel with 80 Hz in AC mode and now my device does not see any 5GHz network.

I can confirm that the latest update unlocked channels 100-140 but somehow messed up 149-165. I'm currently compiling a new test-build to rectify this, it will take 4 hours to compile though. I'll keep you all posted.

I attempted flashing via TWRP and I get error 7.

Well it's not. I'm trying to figure out why

Do I need to do a clean flash then?

blackseraph

You could copy out the TWRP log and link it here via pastebin or something along those lines for me to look at.

I'll do that once I get home from work. Thank you

Hello, the update went well, after the console reboot all the time even on the desktop, I think mine does not support overclocking, how with this rom I can adjust the overclocking? thanks to you

Do a logcat log via terminal emulator. The commands are: su logcat > /sdcard/logcat.txt Then let the thing run until it shuts down and send the logcat.txt to me.

It's a little complicated for me, can you make me a tutorial even short, thank you very much for all your work
