A shout-out goes to parkerlreed, one of our fellow patrons, for reporting (and testing) a issue with the GPD Pocket's fan controller!

The new Android 8.1 Oreo build (which can be found in the original build post) now supports the GPD Pocket's built-in fan!

The fix itself came from Hans de Goede, who's linux-repository can be found here!

The build-scripts on our own repository have been updated to reflect the necessary changes as well!

Does the latest Nougut version not contain this fix? Downloaded Oreo but Oreo is keep hanging at finding Android x86 after it discovers it on the mmc. Nougout works perfectly though, except for the fans not going.

It should. Feel free to check the nougat-x86 branch on our github repository if in doubt. Sadly, as I don't have a GPD Pocket myself, my support for it is coded in "blind", with me relying on actual Pocket owners to verify the endresult. Might I ask where you got the build from? Maybe you simply are running on an old one?

That's odd, that build should be the most up to date Nougat one. Mind getting in touch with me via Discord sometime this coming weekend? As I have no Pocket myself I need someone to play the guinea pig for me to see what went wrong with the fan-driver there.
