I can definitely see it happening, but I think it will be a fake out similar to how they did with bizzarro, it might be he becomes unconscious and they bring him home thinking he is and Jordan realises he needs to step up. Then Clark comes to a few episodes later.

Given we have Steel and Superboy we have a set up for the Death of Superman. I could see him dying but then coming back because I can't see this show ending with him dead. Given how well they did everything in this show though, it's disappointing that they did this thing with Bizzaro turning into Doomsday. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth. And kinda spoils the send of the season for me.

I don't want him to, but I don't think I can see it going any other direction. I'm really hoping he doesn't die, and they just throw us a curveball and have it make sense. That, or he does die, but somehow comes back or something. I also don't think you can have a show called Superman & Lois and not have Superman as a part of the cast for the next season. But if he dies at the end of the show, if done right, I can probably get behind that.

I think next season will pick up with a time skip and we won’t find out what happened with Superman and doomsday until the midseason finale, then they’ll find Clark and we’ll get a whole flashback scene of what happened

I think what they mean when they say “kill Superman” is that he will die then be gone for a few episodes before coming back so not DIE DIE…

I don't think they will kill Superman. Now would I be surprised if they actually killed NO. But the reason I don't they will is because in the episode they had a chance to kill him but chose not too. See with this being a TV show if they plan to kill him then the better ending would have been to kill him. So when season 4 premieres we can see the fallout of his death. Also when other show kills a character in the season premieres the previous season would have normally ended with the character in life or death situation. But the fact that they chose to end the episode NOT only on a more action moment but they also did the "I about to die but found my strength to get my extra power back" tells me that they don't intend for him to die.

I know it’s terrible to say, but I really hope he dies. I think the show could pull off a really emotional heart provoking version of death of Superman. Both Tyler and Betsy are so good at those characters. I would love to see them play in that story.

I think he will die, but ends up not being dead and just being in a coma/kryptonian hybernation thing. I mean we got Lex, Superboy and Steel. We sort of have Eradicator in Htrae. Just need a cyborg and we're golden.
