Hello, dear dudes. I am cutting it a bit close this time, aren't I? It is around 21:00 o'clock where I am, but it is still Monday, so the streak continues!

Unfortunately though I don't have any news worth sharing. But since I don't like to do empty post I will be filling this one with random stuff. For example, while surfing the web earlier today I found the fanart you see above. Back in the day I remember somebody sending it to me, but somehow I managed to lose it, so finding in on the internet now, was a nice surprise. And of course I just had to share it with you all, since it's so wholesome :)

Good news! I passed the theoretical part of the driver's license test. There were 30 questions and I has the right to do 3 mistakes. And I did just that: I got 3 questions wrong, but passed. And on my first try too. Very happy about that. Now I can go ahead and forget all that crap they made me remember at that school. Practical exam is next, but I am not worried since I don't need to study for it :)

Also few days ago I went to a medieval fair. To be honest it was a bit underwhelming, but I managed to snap a picture of the actors on their break. I am really proud of that photo! (See pic above.)

Sakura Wars GB. Not that anyone cares, but I finally beat the game. Got the bad ending of course. It was an interesting experience. The game is built to be cleared multiple times, with every new playthrough unlocking more and more perks. It's basically a dating sim, so of course I am all over it. I plan to play it from the beginning again in a few weeks or so. I may steal some of the ideas from this game for my future projects :)

My Phone. Here is a picture of my smartphone with it's awesome straps. I promised you a post full of random stuff, didn't I? Honestly, I do know that I am scraping the bottom, of the barrel here, but this is still better than just empty: "I am still alive and working" post, right? RIGHT!?

The work. I continue to do playtesting while adding missing bits Basically I just play the game again and again and every time I stumble on a missing text or something not working, I go in and write, code and start from the beginning. Not gonna lie it's getting fucking tedious at times.

Gold Edition. Here is the thing though: there are some parts of the game that would definitely make it better, but I have given up on them because it's pretty huge elements that I could add in Gold Edition and it would make it worth it to play that game again. But, there is always a chance that there will be no Gold Edition, so the stuff that is in the game already needs to be perfect (or close to perfect) on release. Plus, like I always say: I have only one chance to leave a good first impression with a game.

Anyway, I think I filled this post with enough stuff. Yes, this should do. I wish I could share something more substantial, but I just can't. Trust me, working on a project for 2+ years without showing it to anyone is a fucking torture. Getting feedback feels nice, but I must stay strong for the sake of all the unexpected faps the game will deliver to the player later. I must stay strong and keep believing in my craft. And of you, bros, I ask only one thing: keep believing in me.
Soon*

Man, I'm excited for this game, but I can't wait to get back to April and Hermione.

Congrats on the license my guy! And hey, perfecting these games takes time and effort, we know it and we thank you for it! Love the random stuff!

First of all, those are some pretty sick looking straps, ngl. Second, congratulations on passing the exam!!! Now it should be easier so good luck on your practical exam! I gotta say, I always enjoy reading about your gaming adventures so I care. Gotta try Sakura Wars when I'm done with my dissertation, maybe I'll manage to get an actual cartridge, that would be amazing. And when it comes to work, Gold Edition would be nice, I always like having good reasons to replay good games, and I'm sure QT will be a good one. But let's not get ahead of ourselves. While I am all for cramming all the details you can into a game, it also needs polish and we need you sane, so please take care. And putting all of my personal sympathy aside, given your track record we have not a single smallest reason not to believe in you and your work. Have a great week Akabro

I believe in you Aka! Keep up the good work! and thank you for sharing all the random stuff. I like that dudes armor, and the picture itself is great, looks like something you’d see in a D&D tavern. Good luck on the practical exam Akabur 🫡

I’ve yet to come across a better fan art of April. I hope one day she will receive a full game to herself. Maybe black April make a cameo..

Just recently started playing a game I bought on Steam, Tamas Awakening - Imagine my surprise when part way through the MC is recalling his professor at college, for a class on ... basically hypnosis, that professor's name is Mr. Akaber. I Immediately thought, huh... that's really similar... but the art doesn't look like anything of yours really. Fast forward thru a bit of story etc, and you get actual scenes with Mr. Akaber in them, and behold, it's your Genie in a cowl. Again, the art doesn't look exactly like yours, but even without the name I would have found the similarities too likely to be coincidence. So, I'm curious, did you contribute to this game, "Tamas Awakening" and or do any work at all with the creative team behind it, Whiteleaf Studio? The post of the fan art is what brought this to mind and prompted me to post about it.

I am pretty sure the creator (or somebody from the team) did contact me a while back asking for the permission to do this. It was a very long time ago though. I am glad they finished the game and it is on steam now.
