230 - Almost Done With Meg. (Patreon)

Hello bros. How are you doing? Pre-Ordered Overwatch 2 DLC yet? Bought your movie tickets to see Lightyear? Yeah, me too... Welcome to another Monday Post.

The games. FE: Three Hopes is out. I played the DEMO. The game has no romance and no ambiance/mood of the original (IMHO), so I am not interested. Also there was a Xenoblade 3 direct. Everything they showed made me even less interested in the game. I gave up on both Sony and Xbox a couple of years ago, but now I am starting to feel like Nintendo is to follow suit soon. The more I think about all this the more I realize that me and the guys like me are not the target audience for the modern game dev companies anymore. Well, so be it, retro way it is.

My DS. Couple of years ago I bought a modded Nintendo 3DS. It's been collecting dust up until now, but the times are changing and I feel like I will be using it a lot now. I also looking into modding my PS VITA. And even though I still have my PSP (with a glitch analog stick), getting a handheld like AYN Odin (maybe next year) to run PSP games in 3x of original resolution sound like a good idea.

The work. Alright, the plan was to be "mostly done" with coding in Megara's story by now. And I *mostly* succeeded at that. As planned I finished up all the art assets and managed to code in 4 out of 10 Megara's story events. I hope to be completely done with coding by Wednesday and move on to working on Skinny Lily's storyline. So if all goes well by next Monday I will be still in the writing mode and will probably have zero new stuff to show off. (You've been warned).

Speaking of which. At this stage of development releasing a demo would both spoil too much stuff and require too much time to prepare the demo build. But I do want to keep showing you progress, so I am thinking about maybe recording a gameplay video after I finish up a few more things.
