The plumbers have finished their job today.

This is the temporary new bolier we have and some of the temporary pipework. We expect that we will have this for a year or two until we hopefully we can start to carry out some of the plans Camilla mentioned in her recent Ground Floor tour video.

It “aint pretty” but it is neat and most importantly means we no longer have lead pipes leaking into the walls and damaging the fabric of the historic facade.  We purposefully have avoided burying the pipework into the wall as it is one temporary.

The added bonus is that the showers now work on the next two floor including the rather funny pink bathroom. It has as tiny Catalan bath!

The electric boiler only has the capacity for 3 relatively short showers at a time so it isn’t perfect. But it is better than we had before for sure which was scalding hot for 2 minutes followed by freezing cold

Ps the pink tiles in the bathroom are very unusual. I am not sure what I think of them to be honest. They are definitely of their era but I am not sure what that era is. All ideas of time period welcome!
