2nd February - a leaky mystery (Patreon)

Uh-oh! Sorry not a pretty picture to share today but a reminder for me of the restoration challenge ahead with such an old building.

Today Camilla and I have been playing ‘hunt the leak’! again. The house is having a naughty patch and causing trouble!

This time a straight damp patch with mould (yuk) has appeared on the ceiling and wall of the bathroom and more worryingly it is impacting the beautiful exterior wall.

The odd thing is that it doesn’t seem to be near any obvious pipe work inside or outside. The only thing we are wondering is a leaking radiator but it seems fine. I am hoping that it isn’t a pipe embedded in the wall like the last time as that could get very messy!! I will let you know.

On a far happier note a very interesting high tech package arrived which I will share with you tomorrow. It should make life far easier around here for a while!
