1 December - a family favourite (Patreon)

No tree as yet - we are aiming for that next week but we do have a Christmas family favourite. We got this wooden advent calendar at Fortnum & Mason years ago and it is now sitting rather beautifully on the original sideboard. It always puts me in the Christmas mood. The elves have out some rather delicious goodies behind each door. It’s for the children of course but just one day - the 20th - is reserved for me ! - as it’s my birthday. I have always opened the advent calendar on the 20th since I was a little boy.
