We’ve ventured into Sitges to the blue and white street leading to the beach. We spot a planter like the one in our garden and I realise that this whole colour scheme would have been an inspiration to the renovation that took place at the Magical Modernist Mansion in the 1950s, when they added the now fashionably retro kitchen, planters and those teeny bathrooms with Catalan baths running vertically up each floor, along the back of the building.
