8 September - a sad day (Patreon)

I had a nice picture for today but to be honest it doesn't feel appropriate to post it now I have seen the news which has affected me more than I thought it would.  

Such a sad end to the day.  I even shed a tear which is most unlike me.

I think it is because she has been such a constant over so many people's lifetimes - a symbol of stability in an increasingly unnerving world of change.  It's a sad reminder that nothing stays the same and nothing lasts forever.   Bless her for her dedication.
