Going to try making an update post at least once a week, starting now. Not sure what day it will eventually end up being on, but we figured now is as good a time as any.

Giselle (me!) is wrapping up the latest Glimmer Deck update. Right now I'm fixing some bugs I somehow introduced that cause a bunch of poses to be all wonky. Hands in the wrong places, etc. I'm almost there, just trying to track down what exactly happened.

I finished squashing the bugs I mentioned in my last post, the ones with the hair in the Character Editor. Those took longer than I'd like to nail down, but all is well now.

The more I add to the code, the more these kinds of bugs crop up. Every little thing I add in means the testing complexity can increase exponentially. It's pretty crazy, but I do my best to keep it under control.

There are some really cool additions to the experience that I hope everyone likes. New hair styles, skin bases, improved pose animations (except for those damn bugs I'm currently tackling),  and several other things.

Two really cool additions we got in were suggested by user Robotman in our forum: Now you can add a species tag to your created characters, and write up a whole story/description for them, complete with special colors and font styles. Then if you hover over the little icon on a character slot (in the chooser), you can see their story. Here's what that looks like:

So yeah, just nailing down the last of the bugs and polishing the extras, and this update will be good to go.  I'm doing my best to help out with the RPG right now, too, but mostly I'm finishing up the Glimmer Deck

Speaking of the RPG, ViV has been super busy working on the design of the cyber city environment for the RPG mode, as well as coming up with quests, dialogue, etc. It's going to be awesome. We're both super excited about this and can't wait to start sharing screen shots and then later on the builds that you can actually play.

Well that's it for now. If you have any comments or questions please post them. We always like to hear what you all think. Thanks again for your continued support. :)

Ad Astra!
