Giselle here. I'm currently working hard on the next update, having added in a bunch of cool stuff,  testing it thoroughly, and nailing down the inevitable bugs.

I was talking with ViV today about how I'm the kind of person who pretty much stays quiet about what I'm working on, until I know for a fact that it will work. What that means is I don't generally share very much info here about what is being worked on, other than some vague ideas. I guess I feel like if I publicly say I want to put something in, and then for some reason I can't get it in, people would be more upset than if I'd never said it at all.

We notice that some other game developers on here post a lot more than we do. Sometimes they might go several months between actual software updates, but they post a lot about what they are trying to do and what they want to get in, and why it may or may not be working. They post about bugs, problems, successes, etc.

An example of what I'm actually working on this very moment (I took a break to post this) is...

I added a bunch of modeling poses (not sex poses) to the Character Editor, so that there's more than just the standard "T-Pose".  Plus a bunch of different backgrounds, so you can take cool screen shots in the Editor. As a result of doing this, I had to re-write the hair system to work properly with it. It used to be that the hair was static in the Character Editor, it never moved, so I did everything to that static hair. Now the hair has to be attached to the character so it stays in position when new poses are chosen. Making that happen introduced several new bugs which I've been busy nailing down for two weeks, as it is quite a change from the old system. Users will never notice all of that background programmery stuff, they'll just see that new poses are in. So anyway, yeah, just about got it all nailed down.

So, what would you all like? Would you rather we post more often, even if it's just random boring programmery things like the above? Or would you rather we keep things how they are, where we work and work and work, and occasionally drop in here to let you know how it's going, and then finally release each actual software update?

Let us know! :)
