The sword bit is definitely a translation error. She was complaining that he doesn’t use normal swords in the manga, not talking about a specific sword.

the translation is correct technically. ライオス、お前相変わらず気味悪い剣使ってんな?.( laios, you're still using that creepy sword, aren't you?) the thing is his previous one and the new one are taken from the same source. also "Tall man" is what other races call humans

"F*ck Wulbren Bungle" song comes to mind watching this episode...

Also She didn't say that he is using the same sword, it's a mistranslation She said, you're always using creepy sword

NandoTNT

Tall-man are what humans are called, just to clarify

According to extra pages from the author: Tall-men, Half-foots, Elves, Dwarfs, Gnomes, and (spoilers, as we haven't seen any in the anime yet) are all under the 'human' umbrella. Orcs and Kobolds are classified as demihuman! (I just think this is neat ^.^)

Since Netflix keeps recommending it. Blue eyed samurai is peak. Please watch

The way they introduced Kiki and Kaka makes me think they might be a reference to Vax and Vox from Vox Machina, they also have similar design schemes

This is very late but poison is ingested ( ex: mouth, skin, eyes), while venom is injected ( ex: stinger, fangs, claws). I think there can be a case for this plant to be poisonous or venomous. If we would compare it to a jellyfish, both of them have stingers where they INJECT venom (in this case, a paralysis) however, we don't commonly call plants venomous even if they have stinging barbs, so I think it’s okay to call this plant poisonous even if it’s technically venomous.
