Can I just point out that Lihaku is such a good boy? 2024-03-04 21:56:15 I'll admit that I haven't finished watching the whole series myself yet, but there's a slight chance that that isn't actually the case. As Maomao stated in ep1, the only men allowed in the Rear Palace are eunuchs and the Emperor's kin, meaning that there's a non-zero possibility that Jinshi might secretly be the Emperor's brother (or just a distant cousin or something). Remember, one of Jinshi's jobs is to test whether various servants & concubines in the Rear Palace are truly loyal to the Emperor.
