Alicia, it is so important to remember that everyone is, in their own ways, trying to be a hero too. Thing is, bad things happen. In our world you could be sitting at home and a tornado literally form right next to your house. Driving to work. Or simply getting out of bed. Without realizing it, we are each of us rolling a dice of very low, but also very real probability . A d1-in-a-million. In the world of MHA that probability, that small chance of something happening, increases almost daily. For these reasons, and because life is precious, it is so important to live for now in a way that your future you won't regret. I apologize for being presumptuous here, though I think, Alicia, you probably know that better than so many others. Without reason to exist, smiles and laughter can fade quickly. Better to make those memories and cast light on a darkness held so closely to one's heart.
