It’s probably no surprise that, in a series with so few villainous characters, Kyoko is one of the most hated characters by the audience. When you take a step back and look at things from her perspective it’s easy to understand where she’s coming from, and yes, she’s a victim in all of this, but she drove Ishigami’s torment for years - and since Ishigami is a beloved character, it’s seen as unforgivable.

Around the beginning of the flashback you were talking about how you'd talk to the loners and such, not out of some pity friendship or anything, but just recognizing that communication is a human need. With it. I work with a lot of elderly in my current job, and that job has some time constraints I'm supposed to follow in how long I'm working with them. But y'know what, if I'm talking to someone and they just want to babble on about nothing, I don't give two shits about making good numbers for the job, I'm letting them finish that story. Communication is precious for all sorts of reasons, especially when you find yourself in a conversation with a lovely 95 year old lady who just wants to tell you dick jokes.

I love how the narrator remarks how similar are Ino and Ishigami, even un the previous episode when the girl with glasses had a flashback Ishigami take out the note that Ino had in her back without her noticing, and then Ino talked about professors how they are treating Ishigami so wrong when he wasn't attending school Even in the chapter where they're taking photos, the director says "like you secretly support each other" jokingly and both look upset, but is the truth Thank you Alicia for these episodes!

Also, idk if they've told you, but there is a special episode that was like a promotional chapter for season 3, it's on YT (idk if it's on crunchy tho) Not necessary to watch it, but it is enjoyable too 😄

I don't know if you noticed but when Ishigami had his flasback, he said, he doesn't know why he was allowed to go to highschool despite never returning to middle school. In the pevious episodes it was shown that Ino was the one to convince the principal to let Ishigami graduate. If she didn't do that Ishigami would have never met the student council.
