If I'm being completely honest, I think I prefer the whole going through a series straight through before picking up other series than just doing a few episodes and then picking up a new series over and over, it gives me that itch of content that I usually have to wait twice a week for continuously as a viewer and it feels so good. I dont know how hard the work load is but I just want to express that

I remember an interview with ONE the author who said he wanted to make something that felt Kind. And honestly, I really really feel that with Mob Psycho, particularly episodes like this. Mob is a kind boy, and in turn he makes others kinder. I get to needlessly emotional watching this show, but I'll love it forever.

You mentioned your various series and what you want to pick up next, which reminded me there was a poll between Mob and Made in Abyss, which is a masterpiece, but I want to stress that unless you're in a place to handle very dark subject matter involving childen you might want to hold off on it for now.

If you want a (live action) series that's just fun as hell, I highly highly recommend Garth Marenghi's Darkplace. It only has a few episodes, and your knowledge of filmmaking will greatly heighten your enjoyment of it. The full episodes are all available for free on YouTube if you're curious.

Typical father when his daughter brings home a boyfriend: "ARE YOU POSSESSED BY DEMONS?! Somethings wrong here!"

I love this episode and the similarity between Emi and Mob as people that hide their true selves. If not Reigen and the BIC, Mob would still be 100% in his shell and now thanks to Mob, Emi doesn't need to pretend to not be herself in order to fit in.

Love this episode so much, it might be my favourite episode of Mob because of this second half. Tears in my eyes every time.

You mentioned wanting to check out some scenes in dub when you're done; I was waiting for this episode, because it's a good one in the dub, that scene where he starts crying genuinely made me tear up with how the dub VA delivered it. <3

2023-02-01 12:34:05 I love that Mob & Emi are both in an awkward situation of lying to each other and weirdly going out of their ways for sparing each other's feelings, but because of that, they BOTH learn how to better stand up for themselves in their own lives afterwards. I like when situations like this make both of them change for the better while also not having their shared feelings change romantically towards one another, even as they appreciate the other person more since they were able to escape the fear of vulnerability around being ridiculed because they had someone like them to face that with. This episode really hits the perfect balance after the crazy farm opening, but especially because it focuses on shifting people's opinions through suggestive influence when direct force isn't a viable option. That's why the jerk girls just leave, because Mob is learning how to deescalate a situation to only have to deal with resistance when it's truly necessary.
