Thoughts on Regression and Roadmap (Patreon)

Hey everyone,

I'm really happy and proud of Regression. 100 pages in word. That's longer than my Masters thesis XD. I know it took a long time, but that's what it takes for me to fully flesh out a realistic story. I love this process of developing long arching stories. I see myself writing like that indefinitely. Quality of Quantity.

Madison was a really interesting character. Anxiety can manifest itself in many different ways. Coupled with the fact she never took responsibility for her mental health, being a baby made sense for her. I encourage you to go back and re-read it! There's tons of little allusions to the end. Like Long_Rifle's bit in Chapter 4.

I think I raised the bar of what I can accomplish as a writer. I want to keep focusing on strong character driven plots. It'll take time for me to spin up the next one. So because of that, I'm going to shift my focus away from stories for a bit. But don't worry! I'm slowly plotting the next one in the background (Mwhahah). The goal is to make it better than Regression.

I have a backlog of audios I need to write up and record. That's my main focus for the rest of the month and going forward. I'm also going to focus on captions. I'll absolutely write one before the end of the month, hopefully two along with audios.
