Tragnati WIP (Patreon)

I've not been feeling good tonight and felt I'd not do commissions up to par, so I spent whatever drawing energy I had on a WIP of a species I've had in my head for some time. I had a distinctly different idea for their front arms - I initially wanted them to have a fused bone from their hands to arm, (For better tree grabbing, sleeping, 'parking'... etc, these guys spend most of their lives in trees) with an outer bone and cartilage ridge (Almost in a sleigh shape) for quadrupedal running. In concept here I couldn't quite work it out, but perhaps some dabbling in 3D in the future might help. Otherwise I might just drop that idea. Just seemed cooler in my head than what I could doodle tonight.

Anyway... The Tragnati, a creature inspired by bearded dragons, gryphons, leopards and other various lizards... Perhaps I will do more with them. Interesting dong shape though.
