Sorry, I know it's not related to the reaction (and this gonna be a looooong comment), but since this is the latest post here it is: It's the last day of the year, and I've already said many times how much I love this channel, people here also tend to be very nice (most of the times hehe). Since I'm still in an instable financial situation, I gonna have to leave patreon again for some time, I'll probably show up one time or another along the year though, in months I make more money. So its not a goodbye. Anyway, before I go: I wish Lola, Milena and everyone here a Happy New Year, hope 2024 to be a good year for all of us. And since I'm not going to be here to fight... sorry, I mean to debate, on polls, I going to give my recommendantions here. Shows: - Spy Family - many people already recommended this anime, so you already know: comedy, cute, wholesome, and everyone who watched it agree you gonna love it. - One Piece Live Action - Even though SOME PEOPLE HEEEERE tend to make a discussion every time OP is mentioned, the work in general: manga, anime, Live Action is totally up your alley. The Live Action made the impossible: An anime LA that is actually good! it has just 8 episodes and is a good glimpse of how great OP is: great characters, fun, wholesome, heartwarming, power of love and friendship, etc. You gonna love and no need to watch the anime. - Bloom into You (Yagate Kimi ni Naru) - Before Violet Lola mentioned how you don't watch so many shows with female protagonists, and also no romances at all. So I remembered this anime: Female protagonists and a romance... between them xD Bloom into You is a yuri/GL anime and everything is very simple: the animation, the plot... but a really good art direction still. Like Violet, it's more about the characters and they learning and understanding their own feelings. Another kind, chill, heartwarming show, 13 episodes. But it's not popular and I doubt it would ever win a poll. So maybe is more a recommentation for you to watch on your own or if you decide to chose something yourselves. - The Sopranos - I don't watch live actions for a long time (there is OP but, you know, maybe doesn't count), but I have watched this show years ago and I just remmeber it was very good. A lot of people were asking for it, so I believe you will watch eventually, and then I can rewatch with you. Unlike the shows above, it's not a kind one xD. ps: After watching, it my sister and I spent months constantly imitating Silvio's imitation of All Pacino. Movies: - A Silent Voice - anime movie, absolutely beautiful, Lola said is in the list, so thank you. There are so many topics that hits home to me in this movie, I'm gonna wait you watch it. - The Handmaiden - A korean movie, drama/thriller/romance, kind of an adaptation of figersmith. (This being the second lesbian romance in this list is mere coincidence... ahem ahem) - City of God (Cidade de Deus) - This movie is a classic here in my country (Brazil) a drama/action about a boy growing up and living in one o the most violents favelas in Rio de Janeiro. The movie is, well, really violent; but also really good (it's avaiable on Netflix) That's it for now, sorry for the long comment. English is not my mother tongue and I have to think a lot to express myself in a second language (the reason I usually don't comment that much) but I'm pretty sure you can understand aside some error.
