Hunter x Hunter Anime started in 2011 and ended in 2014 so if we reach 2024 meaning next year it will be 10 years since episode 148 aired, I personally believe the anime will come back but maybe just 24 episodes since there is some manga chapters they can adapt to 24 episodes form! Hunter x Hunter manga is in hiatus again it came back last year for few months! it has been in hiatus since 2017 until 2022 when it came back!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kurapika actually wants to have an adventure as well since that’s what he promised to his best friend (the silhouette you saw) before he was killed. They swore they would spend their lives exploring outside their village. The two of them were very similar to Gon and Killua, and that is why I really recommend you read Kurapika’s backstory since it really shows what life could have been like for him… and if he will get it one day. His story does not end with vengeance and eyeballs, at least he doesn’t view it that way. The backstory is actually the first thing after the anime ends so you know for sure his adventure will be a grand one, one with friends and fun.

I think once the succession arc is completed, I could see a new special anime just to cover the new stuff. That could be fun.

Super sad to me that many of the troupe could've been friends with Gon, Killua, Leorio, and Kurapika if they were lucky enough to meet them in at they same time of the hunter exam :( Paku most definitley

Any other shonen would have had these last episodes be giant fights (with no one dying lol) The whole idea of the individual vs the collective, choosing between loyalty and personal connection, it’s done so well and we understand why they care so much about both We’re slowly spoonfed details about the Troupe but it all comes across so naturally through their interactions. Seeing how each of them reacts to Uvo’s death and their allegiance to the Spiders being tested is enough for us Chrollo has no identity outside of the troupe, outside of the evil things he does. Paku made the choice he wouldn’t have ever made but he would have respected it

You should know that in the latest manga chapters from last year(not included in the anime) the Troupe's motivation is finally fully explained. So if you feel like it, there's much to gain in continuing into the manga from where the anime stops. Specially because Kurapika is your favorite.

The anime doesn’t have its own ending it just stops at a point in the story so the manga can continue. Some anime’s catch up to the manga and have no more source material to adapt, so the Hunter X Hunter anime is waiting until the manga gets to a waaaay larger length so they have a lot more source material to adapt.

Pretty sure Kurapika would die if henused them on Hisoka. It would detect how Hisoka feels just like it detected Pakunoda used her ability. Makes no sense to me that if Kurapika believes strongly enough it would just work if he used it on the wrong person. Nen conditions don't usually have loopholes based on technicalities. The only gray area would be a former member who was still close but I doubt they'd be effected either.
