So fun fact, there was a theory in the Mr Robot fandom throughout seasons 3-4 that Darlene and or Dom would die in a plane crash due to certain lines or background details that people picked up on, so this entire, relatively chill episode was stressful as fuck for people who subscribed to that theory lmao. I never did because I never saw Darlene or Dom as the type of characters who would die, especially like That, and in general I find theories built off of random potentially misinterpreted background details less compelling than ones built off of actual character interactions or text (ie all of mr robot's actual twists) Great episode to send off Domlene, it's personally not one of my favorites but was one of my most anticipated for ya to react to

On the topic of how much money everyone got. There is a screen grab of Darlene's phone showing 140 billion dollar transfer from one account. But they hacked 100 deus group member. If we just take that number and multiply it by 100 we get 14 trillion dollars (or e-coin but one coin is one dollar as Phillip mentioned). We then divide that evenly among all people with an ecoin wallet. In the U.S. 108 million have a bank account. If we guess that 200-300 million people have an e-coin wallet than everyone got between 45k and 70k. But we dont know the exact number of e-coin wallets and we can only guess how much was taken from the deus group. Which means we can multiply or divide that by two or three. It's save to say that people got more than 10k and less than 100k.

I've been looking forward to this reaction for a while, ever since Milena initially mentioned she had seen 'spoilers' about shipping Dom and Darlene lol. I agree that this was a 'nice' episode after so much tense and hectic action. It's very "Sam" to give us a 'running through the airport' scene set to Carly Rae Jepsen that ends with them narrowly missing each other, I was dying laughing the first time and your reaction was so funny. but having thought about this a lot I agree that it's exactly what they both need. You can imagine Dom arriving in Budapest, confused, jetlagged, out of her element. I like to picture her googling the best tourist attractions, chatting to locals, having a nice time on her own for the first time in years. And Darlene finally accepts that she can be okay on her own - she isn't fixed, but she's able to cope without leaning so hard on Elliot, on Dom, on Cisco, on anyone else. And the shot of Dom finally falling asleep on the plane (a few pages into Irving's book no less) is just... nice. I'm happy for her. It's certainly a lower tempo episode but a nice break. Seeing Irving and Leon again was fun. The wealth distribution was a nice coda to last week's hack. All that chaos finally amounted to something nice and good. And a good, clean setup for the final episodes. I'm gonna miss this show and these reactions!

Lol Sam Esmail is a bad man for that ending. Good epoxide though, although tbh somebody checking in and not arriving at the gate is a massive security problem, likely they'd send people out looking for her in all likelihood and call her by name to the gate at minimum: it's one of those things people get deplaned for. I do like it though as a way to tie up various side-characters' stories.

I've always wondered if Leon's final scene at the airport is a clue towards a potential spin-off years and years down the track later - I can only hope :P Also some pretty good funny deleted scenes and "behind the scenes" of this episode on YouTube - for example the actress that plays Darlene had to keep re-filming her scene on the bench with Dom screaming "fuck yeah bitches" due to making mistakes of her line along with a bunch of random children around probably onlooking in confusion and horror lol. Irving's book he has been writing since we first were introduced to him / one of those "dark scenes" that you guys couldn't see at the time was him writing his book whilst on the phone to the FBI guy / the one he talked about when he grabbed that "minion" of Whiteroses cheek at the end of the barn episode. Absolutely loved seeing Irving in this episode, he definitely tops it

Sam Esmail 100% had to be aware of the theory. It's too much of a coincidence for that to be a theory for so long and then there's an entire episode centered around Dom and Darlene at an airport, lmao. I didn't think the theory would actually happen but the weirdness behind Irving insisting that Dark Army didn't care about them combined with the final scene being Dom on the plane and the sounds continuing over the credits had me convinced that the plane was going to explode or something in takeoff.

Not long after Mr Robot finished his Sam Esmail's production company asked on twitter if you had an unlimited budget what would you have them work on - I said a Leon spinoff; feels like you could do a lot with that, though I think you'd struggle to come up with a complete linear story arc and I feel like that's what Sam Esmail likes to work on. We're getting BSG anyways though so I'm happy with that :)

The deleted scene from this episode of Dom and Darlene walking and talking is one of the few ones I like. I get why it was cut for pacing and structure reasons and probably would have made the same decision, plus I think the scene goes on a bit too long and there are some ooc moments, but I like them addressing Dom masturbating to the interrogation footage and saying that they both need to grow up. I also like the deleted scenes with Leon.

Each one got what they needed. Darlene being alone and taking care of herself and Dom letting go and being able to sleep. Going together would be like a patch…now they are REALLY solving their own problems, and in the future…who knows…Darlene had to offers, the dark side and the light side, working for the good or the bad…whatever she does it will be ok because now she is REALLY gonna be ok.

Please watch The Glory. It's a revenge K-drama and the best one out there. If you like well planned schemes and amazing character driven plot, you will love this series! It should be on Netflix.

Lola's likely seen it. They save some shows for personal time and K-dramas seem to be in that category. Who knows though! I'd like to see a watch
