shit, i wish i could watch this but i need to go to bed. i hope i have time tto watch it tomorrow between shifts. anyway, i was able to fix the problem with the bank and came back to the patreon right away but now it says is 2€ higher. anyone else having this problem? i've been paying 9€ since i first started on patron more than a year ago except for one month that was a bit higher. has the patreon billing changed or something?

Phillip Price appreciation post: This episode right here cemented him as my favorite character outside of Elliot, Mr. Robot, and Darlene. I just think his character arc is so masterfully done. I never could have imagined how nuanced of a character he was going to turn out to be after his first appearance in 1x4. Every time I rewatch the show I enjoy watching his character more and more. Michael Cristofer just does an incredible job and captivates me in every scene he’s in.

From what I remember reading, this episode was close to the original Mr Robot movie pitched by Sam. He was asked to increase the length and it became the entire series.

Phillip has one of my favorite ends of any character, of all time. I'll talk more when the edited comes up but it's so fuckin good that the three people who loved Angela most are the ones instrumental to her defeat. Even Tyrell's death threw a wrench in her plans lmao

btw it is strange that the Chinese wasn't translated for you guys, I saw it fine but idk. Don't remember if there's more foreign languages in the last four eps or not so dunno how to fix that

Maybe it's because I just watched two shows at the same time, but Phillip's ending really reminded me of Ashellad. Both weren't exactly good people, but sacrificed themselves for a better future and brought the bigger evil down.

Fun fact- Michael Cristofer, the actor who played price, actually originally auditioned for the part of Mr. Robot but he wasn’t a right fit for the part. When the casting director read Prices part, she immediately reached out to Sam and told him that Cristofer was MADE for the part and so her and Sam locked him in immediately. And boy was she right. He hit it out of the park

Yep ^ I also had translation on my version and remembered that the show only doesn't translate very specific lines (Like Joanna telling Elliot she'll kill him if something happens to Tyrell in 1x10 and Grant talking about Whiterose before his death in 3x10). So I'm very surprised the subtitles just weren't there on your version, but maybe your translated subs were soft-coded so they left it out (it sometimes happens on shows on streaming services that get the episode and remove the yellow captions and will forget to include it in the rest of the captions)
