The mold is growing out of control. These people really should stop feeding it.

This was supposed to be posted yesterday, but other things got in the way. April is going to be quite busy with non art related stuff, so there will probably be fewer and more limited updates. Sorry about that.

Does this monster have intelligence? I felt the intention to give them temporary pleasure and make them unable to resist them and suffer mentally.

hmm, not exactly. it might look like it is acting with intent but it isnt really. essentially it feeds off specific compounds, hormones etc humans produce. just like a plant's roots grow towards water without intent behind it, this mold stimulates prey to produce the food the mold needs, without actually knowing what it does. it likes dopamine among other things. it is wasteful; it will feed off some of what is produced, and lets the human have the rest. the mold itself is strong enough to restrain an adult female human.

I really like how this story is progressing. Watching the three victims at different stages of engulfment is very cool and I really think you've captured the slimy/icky with just the right amount of squick.
