[$10] Introductions (Patreon)

Hey y'all So as some of you might know this summer I wanted to work more on personal projects! One such project is a small little dating sim that me and one of my programming buddies wants to make! Everything has been kind of a slow start since both of us usually prefer to work alone but I can't program and he can't draw, and work life has been kind of getting in the way for the both of us. That being said we've started making headway and I wanted to give y'all a small sneak peak into our project that, for now, will be called [Connections]

So far we've spent the majority of our development time thinking up plot and UX so  haven't done too too much art work for the game but I wanted to introduce y'all to the three main date-able characters you'll meet in our short game as well as give a brief synopsis about the idea behind it!

In Connections you play the main character who is on their way home for the holidays. While waiting on your connecting flight a blizzard rolls into town an essentially shuts down both the airport and all roads, essentially trapping you in your terminal. Throughout the days you're stuck in the crowded airport you'll have a chance to meet, get to know, and maybe even develop a deeper connection with some of the men you meet while waiting out the storm:

Yamato is a type A businessman spending his holidays working when he got caught in the blizzard. As far as getting to know his fellow flyers, he's just about as cold as the blizzard raging outside!

Mark on the other hand is a ball of sunshine, and he was on his way to just that in sunny Hawaii. He obviously didn't really plan to be trapped in a blizzard but maybe he'll find something, or someone, to keep him warm. 

And then there's Nash. or at least that's the name he's going by. You can tell he's up to something, and you can tell you want in, but you're gonna have to prove to him you can roll with the punches and have what it takes to ride out this storm if you're gonna ride with him.

These are just the 3 main guys you'll see in the airport but it's a busy time of year and who knows who you'll run into. Will you make your connecting flight or make some connections along the way? Stay tuned for more updates to see!

Because we don't want to share too much about the game (especially since this is our first game and we;re not 100% sure it'll be finished before my friend moves away) I won't post too many things on Patreon but I'll be sure to send any artwork along with the monthly rewards to y'all!
