Hey everyone !

I'm finally done with building the town, at least mostly. I could take another week or so just adding details, polishing every stone, but there's a time for everything. The whole area still need a lot of buildings, but that will be mostly for side content, and for now I'm focusing on the main story.

With that said, I've begun scripting all the events and components needed to get done  with it. Like I said in one of my earlier post, my challenge here is to try to keep the playground small enough so players don't get lost, even in a big area like that. So, my goal is to try to push you in the right direction without it feeling too forced.

As an example, the featured pic show a totally optional event where you will be able to take a walk in a surrounding plateau with a girl. The girl will drive you here and get you back to the town, saving you walk time, and the event will provide you useful clues about where to look. The benefit is that you can also skip it entirely.

I'm trying to walk a thin line here, taking advantage of a real open area to give a lot of freedom, while also trying to make sure nobody got lost. But I feel like I'm getting there, but adding optionnal events aimed at providing clues.

So, for now I'm getting slowly there, and I already crafted all the logics required to make you enter the woods safely, which will lead to the finishing line. Of course, this is only the backbone, and I still need to fill in all the littles dialogs and details, but things are coming together nicely.

With that all said, I'm getting back to work ! As usual, don't hesitate to write down any comments  if you feel like it, and see you next time !
