Kdramas really just love to make us love a character only for us to get our hearts stomped to the ground and run over by Truck kun. Poor Jung, he doesn’t deserve this 😢 (well, his karma still sorta hits, but don’t make us go through this lol) Can’t wait for your reaction to episodes 13 and 14!! Definitely my some of my favorites in the series!

Haha...completely understanding the love-hate relationship you have with this episode. Hierarchy is a big deal in Korean culture and by hearing which character a person has in their name (if their family still follows such traditional naming conventions where there is a specific order), Attorney Ryu and Judge Ryu would know which part of the family tree they each fit into. Attorney Ryu uses that info and makes a point to call the Judge by his full name each time, but doesn't cross the line into using that to her advantage to sway him to give her preferential treatment. As for Youngwoo - it's the return of the black and white thinking lol. The subtitles don't make it clear, but what her Dad is asking about is whether they're a couple as in going steady. So to Youngwoo, they're not since they've just been on a number of dates, but Junho didn't specifically ask her to be his girlfriend or 'go steady'. Junho, like you mentioned, recognised that he has to say some things out loud rather than imply them for Youngwoo to know. However, he's also starting to learn that he'll always have to be the one who initiates to reach compromise in this relationship because Youngwoo doesn't recognise when she should do this most of the time and for a person with Autism, rigid thinking/inflexibility is a common trait.

Ange is such a pancake. It’s my favourite thing. He’s fully committed with his hate (or love) calling shit, and planning attacks. Then full flip. He’s deeply protective of the person he detested.

damn Carlie is the queen of predictions, you guessed people are about the get fired! I really liked this episode, it showed us different types of attorneys but we also learn it's not just black and white, big companies are not neccesarily evil. I also liked how Jun Ho expressed his feelings towards Young Woo, I feel like his character is lacking at times. we all know he's a walking green flag and I adore him, but I would like to know more about his interests and personality besides that he's kind.

Just a little side note to help with ep 12: attorney Jung’s situation is supposed to draw parallel to the other firm and what attorneys give up in exchange for their goals. The opposing lady may have lost the case, doesn’t drive a fancy car but gets off work on time and eats home grown food on the rooftop. On the other hand, jung goes to his fancy office at the peak of a tall fancy building but he’s also always working late and eating fast food and now, spitting blood from the stress of his job, exacerbated by the murderer that was released. Again, this isn’t to say Hanbada is evil and the lady is all good; laws don’t work like that. But it’s to portray the stark contrast of the two law firms.

Well, we never said it would be wholesome ALL the time right.?😉 But it just shows how they made us attached to these amazing characters. Unfortunately it should have been clear that they will use this "against" us at some point by making us afraid and sorry for them. In a way they are just harvesting what they haven sown... And they do it in a brilliant way ngl.
