Short clip this week but I wanted to give you all a sneak peek at a new instrument that I've learned to play specifically for the medley - the chromatic button accordion! You've probably seen me playing accordion in some of my videos, but the one you see here is different in the way the notes are laid out on the right-hand side of the instrument; as opposed to the standard piano-style layout, the buttons on this accordion are laid out chromatically in a series of rows.

Although I could have just as well played this on a piano accordion, I chose to go with this one mainly because the sound was more pleasant and fitting for this tune. Getting familiar with the button-style layout was surprisingly easy and it only took about an hour or so before I could play through the part without pauses. Hope you like how it sounds!
