I had a rough week! I'm doing better now, but I delayed making a post just for the sake of my mental health, since it's quite draining to do.

What's being worked on now?

P*netration mechanics!

How the player gets toys inside the character, grabs them while they're inside, and how you swap orifices mid-f*ck. A while ago I prototyped an idea where you can scroll between targets and aim, instead of just having entirely separate targets per orifice.

I like the more natural feel of a toy hovering in front of a character's cr*tch, and having the freedom to push it into the p*ssy or b*tt by making a slight adjustment. communicating on patreon requires some censoring >.>'

Making the prototype work more fully is revealing more about what I need from a technical aspect to get that to work.

Mainly, state!

Everything is handled in a very modular way in this game engine, which means that information can also be quite spread out. But when it comes to the mouse (or finger, if I can get mobile into a good place), the game and UI elements have to react to the current state of the mouse.

So, tracking everything about the current state of the mouse into an easily-accessed place means I can then have every UI and game element use conditional reactions-

  • Scrolling the mouse when not doing anything wheel zooms the camera.
  • Scrolling while holding a toy in front of an orifice moves the aim of the toy up/down.
  • I'm also considering making it so you can scroll while the toy is inside, and angle the toy up/down for things like targeting the pr*state or making bulges protrude more.

The technical aspects feel kinda dry, but they enable so much of the actual fun stuff (finally!)

It's still in a technical state, but as soon as it's fully working, I'll share some gifs of the interactions and keypresses involved to get some feedback from y'all. Penetration interactions are a huge aspect of the game and I want them to be more natural and satisfying than the original design.

...and that's all for now! Normal posting times will be restored~
