To new patrons: We’re in the middle of an absurdly-long update cycle. Here’s the summary and how to access content.


What's being worked on?

P*netration with any shape

Done! (see the substar post for the actual visual) 

The shape is defined using a set of points SizePosition(depth, girth). We've hardcoded this for testing. These will actually be defined in the data like everything else.

Don't yell at me about my graphing skills.

Now, the game uses the current depth of a p*netrator (or group of p*netrators), and this shape, to calculate the p*netrator's girth at a specific point. In the animation (again, on substar plz go there) we see this happening at the entrance of the p*ssy. 

An orifice can also have multiple constrictions (sphincters and whatnot) that track the p*netrator's girth and calculate it at those constriction points throughout the entire orifice. Inner squeezy points can now properly track and affect p*netration.

This is a mix of improvements on the old code plus a bunch of new features. It's hugely rewarding to see past hard work coming back to not only be useful, but pretty quick to repurpose here. Yay~


Q&A

Will we be able to modify bodies in-game, like using spells/potions? So this is an important one to me. I want character customization options, but that will happen out of world. As in, you pick the body traits of a character in a menu, and the character won't know or remember that they've been changed. This is for matching a character to your headcanon, for example.

Second, I wanna take any body customization you can do and add the ability to have it happen in-world. As in, the character sees and feels the change happen, remembers what they used to look like, and reacts to their new body. 

This could include shrinking/growing certain parts, giving them entirely new bodies, changing species, etc.

These features should start coming into the game at the same-ish time as any character customization features, since they'll be using mostly the same code. 

Breathplay? Yep, it might be basic at first though. Heart rate and oxygen levels are already something I'm trying to track, especially with gagging being a thing. This type of play gets into some deeper mechanics though too. While it might not be very complex at the start, I would like to explore it fully when I can spend some time on it.

Woo, visual progress! I'm so hyped. There's still engine work being done but it's so gratifying to be able to see the work turn into visuals and not just numbers and code.

Also a very brief talk about focus, motivation, and self worth, cause I know there's a lot of creatives who read my stuff. I've always struggled with motivation, focus, and discipline. I used to think that if I learned how my brain works, it would make things easier and I'd struggle less. But the reality is that in most cases, I've just learned how to struggle faster and more efficiently. Problems that used to consume me for days now consume me for hours instead. This is thanks to having/creating an environment around me that rewards emotional introspection and vulnerability. There was no quick answer to the focus and motivation question. It has repeatedly come down to just... caring enough about my mental health to slow down when I feel bad, but to push myself back out of the comfort zone again as much as I can. 

It never gets less uncomfortable. I just get better at handling it.
