This one is small (9.4MB) and just fixes these few issues, but I felt it important to push out because I really wanted URL audio to work correctly.

* fixed issue with URL audio restore

* fixed issue with URL audio not saving more than 1 clip

* fixed AudioSource pitch not saving correctly

* fixed breast joint physics not restoring correctly

I am able to save more than 1 audio clip (I have 3 loaded in URL audio list in the main menu); however, when I try to use them in a Collision Trigger start action, only 1 is available in the dropdown menu. Is this a bug?

But... have you actually written some instructions on HOW we get sounds in to a scene? Still not cracked a way of making sound come from a person's head. Not even by examining your demo scene.

So now i am loosing patience. Every time the download sucks. Every virus scanner alerts in every browser. Everything turned off (virus scan and browser safety) the file never comes to my harddrive. If I say open after download it says I have no permission to install on the directory the main file is.... damn i am the admin of my pc shit. Sorry for those hard words but every update is horror for me... maybe you can implement an auto update function for those people who have not studied informatics. I really like your stuff and I went to creator support but this is really annoying and forces me to quit

Click on animation - Triggers - Actions - Add discrete action - Atom: Person - Receiver: HeadAudioSource - Target: PlayNowLoop - Type: Embedded - choose category and sound file in the next following boxes. I think you also need to record a few seconds of animation for the SFX to be played.

Have you also tried right-clilck the file and "run as admin" (or what ever windows says in english)

Try re-selecting URL in 2nd dropdown. That will refresh the 3rd dropdown list. I'll switch it so the 3rd dropdown gets refreshed when it gets opened as well. Hay German Ochoa i had the same issue and then realised i had 1.5 installed so downloaded 1.5.1 and it let me intall that the did the same with 1.5.2

@meshedvr Is there any chance Person:control will become animatable ? I can bind Person to an animation pattern, but what if i want to move the whole person without anmation pattern?

I'm not sure you will want to motion record Person:control. It will be very shaky. I can add it though.

your updates installer is reported as unsafe by windows and av program. Bitdefender report as malware your app.

Okay, now images aren't loading on the imagepanel or imagepanelemissive atoms. Anyone else having this problem? EDIT: I uninstalled VaM and reinstalled 1.5.0. Image panels are loading from local urls perfectly fine for me in 1.5.0. They stopped working in 1.5.1 and 1.5.2 completely. I can load scene's with imagepanels in them, with the images loading up fine, but I can't change them at all. Any thoughts? This is an important feature to suddenly lose :(

There are a couple of things I'm struggling with. I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask questions, but here we go... 1. Why are the controls for moving body parts sometimes quite far away from the body part? I seem to spend a lot of time hunting for the nodes/controls. Today, I found a toe control about a metre away from the toes. Why is this? 2. How do I start a simple animation recording? I can activate/deactivate control nodes and then I get "Press select to start recording". I just can't work out what to do at that point to start recording. None of the buttons/triggers (Oculus Rift) seem to start the recording.

1. This can happen when you move the body far past the 'Hold' or 'on' position for a particular body part. For instance, you pin the elbow back behind the person, then keep moving their various parts forward, until the elbow is now stretched as far as the spring and damper will allow before it gives. The anchor may still be in the original position "a metre away".

2. Check to see if motion is not frozen? I'm on a Vive, sorry. Mine seems to be working.

Thanks for helping Mo Staff. 1. I still don't understand why the anchor isn't always stuck on the body part it moves, e.g. the elbow anchor should be never be found anywhere except right on the elbow, wherever that elbow is. 2. I'll keep trying!

False positive. The patcher is an exe patching other files. Pretty common for virus/malware software to report that. I'm moving to a new patch system next release though which should eliminate this issue. You can bypass if you really want to use 1.5.2 or just wait for 1.6.

I'll take a look, but my tests showed they were working. Are you saying they load correctly when scene loads up, but then you can't change them? Because I did not test that.

1. My suggestion - turn off all control nodes you don't need to be on. Most of the time you just need end points like hands, feet, head, and probably 1 central node like hip. The other nodes are there in case you want more control. Think of control nodes as invisible springs, which you can pull to make the underlying body part try to move to. It is kind of like being a puppeteer. 2. After you have controls armed, you have to hit the Start Record button in the Animation tab. You then get in position and hit select.

Thanks. I wasn't thinking of these controls as springs. Intuitively I was expecting to pose a character like I would a dummy in a shop - by grabbing joints and body parts and moving them into possition.

Oh, looking at the Trello board what's already completed of above list, does this mean you plan to release V1.6 at the end of February and find back to the Patreon friendly cycle with end-of-month releases?

how far in the future is the g8 figures and custom morph implementation going to be? i cant wait to use my own custom morphs from daz and bring them into your game.

1.6 won't be out before end of month. 1.5.2 came out 17th and February is short, so that didn't leave much development time. I am trying to get release out within next week. I have not decided if that is 1.5.5 or 1.6 because it is pretty light on content at the moment.

Kind of far out. It requires a lot of work to support G3/G8. I have to create a new skinning engine for it (skinning method is different) and then convert all the soft-body physics and auto collider system over to new mesh. All of that is a month of solid work, assuming I don't do anything else. I don't see the option to load user created scenes in 1.5... the option isn't in the menu like it was in 1.4...

Just a small suggestion, at some point in time, you might want to use one of the monthly releases to focus more on refining existing features, and less on new features, to sort catch up. U r fantastic btw, I signed up for Patreon just for you and this Virt-A-Mate community has a good-vibe family feel. ;p

Have you applied your Entertainer key after you installed 1.5? You may still be in Free mode.

In all 3 releases I have played my nodes to control keep disappearing, sometimes I can grab them if i am quick enough but usually when i point and get close to the node it will disappear and its random when they come back, any ideas?

Haven’t been able to pause or freeze any scene since 1.5 - I can slow everything down with the slider but can’t stop it completely. Anyone else having the same issue? Entertainer key

Are you using the "Freeze Motion/Sound" button? That is only thing that will stop everything.

nodes appear only when you touch thumbpad on Vive or A/X button on Oculus touch. And the UI must be open. Perhaps you didn't realize this and when you are clicking trigger/grab button your thumbs are coming off the pad/buttons? You can actually grab things while the nodes are invisible as well. You just have to overlapping the joint/control in that case.

I still have a "auto grab" issue that I can't end no matter what. When I move a controller near a grab point it automatically grabs it and I can't release it.

Not sure what could cause this other than a glitchy controller. You have Rift or Vive?

Rift or Vive? I'm using APIs from both Oculus and Valve to handle this portion of the controller state.

The auto grab issue only began after I installed the latest patches - worked perfectly on previous version earlier the same day - also no issues in other games. (HTC Vive controllers) - as soon as my controller 'orb' icon comes into contact with a control node on a character - it 'snaps'/grabs the node as if I had chosen possession mode - but there is no way to release - unpossess has no effect and it is initiated automatically without posses being selected. It is as if possession mode is being automatically enabled during game startup/loading - and cannot be turned off via menu or other means. This did not occur until I installed the latest version + patches - 1.4x worked perfectly.

For some scenes what use audio or movement (Not sure of the cause), the game breaks by not animating single scene anymore. It happens every time again if I go to certain scenes :(. Sigh.

I'll review that code, but I can't repeat that and I haven't messed with this code in a while. Very strange. I'm about to release 1.5.5. Perhaps you can try it and see if issue still exists.

If the URL audio is broken, this can happen. 1.5.5 has new error reporting where this will be shown, and it will also start animation even if audio did not load, but those sounds will not play.
