It doesn't, except for one of the environments which has a fireplace with its sound effect. From reading the trello cards, I remember he made significant progress on the sounds but pushed their implementation to 1.4 (for now) because he is not satisfied with them yet.

In user prefs there is option to turn on teleport rotate. Off by default as most seemed to not like it.

Excellent update! I cant wait for sounds and expressions! Is there an tutorial no how to use grab points? Like how do I add a grab point to her shoulder?

GrabPoint is still not working the way I want. Here is what I recommend for now. 1. Move GrabPoint into position near shoulder. 2. Go to control tab of GrabPoint and set it so only position can be grabbed. On same tab turn rotation "Off". 3. Now on GrabPoint tab select the shoulder controller as the grabbed object. Now when you grab this GrabPoint, it is remote-grabbing the shoulder position and moving it. In future release I want to fix GrabPoint to essentially act as a remote control of the controller you attach it to and not connected with a joint as it is doing now.

Excellent work as usual, I really wouldn't work on anything else till you get at least some sounds in. When I went into bedroom scene and the crackling of the fire was there, it becomes so much more real, then the girls look so good, but then there is no sounds :( pulls you straight out of the immersion. I'm not knocking this in the slightest, this is the best adult vr game out there, I just think you would end up with more patreon subscribes if you got some sound in :)

Spectacular update! As others have said, the addition of sound is going to be a game changer. Even if we just get some breathing and moaning for a starter it would add enormously to the immersion. Thank you for the brilliant work!

hi there, is there a chance that this is gonna be in a non VR mode. If not, is there a way to set the inputs to suit the use of a keyboard?

I can't justify spending time on that right now. This sim is really built as a VR sim from the ground up. It would require a whole new UI and control scheme to work right.

Try searching binaural audio on google. you can get way more than just breathing and moaning. play on your phone and pop them headphones in. Its a big difference.

I may have encountered an odd bug. I was able to run 1.2 just fine, but now when I load up 1.3 everything loads fine and my vive controllers are tracking(can move them around and see blue/red beams) but I am unable to select ready or my content level. It is as if no button inputs are registering. Loaded up 1.2 as a test and having the same problem. I don't think it is the controllers since I don't have this problem with any other vive apps. Any solutions you can think of?

This has happened to others. I still have not figured out root cause of it, but there are 2 workarounds. First one - run the Vam Config shortcut in that folder and hit Play on the popup that comes up. Does it work now? Yes - great! No - try 2nd workaround. Second workaround - open regedit (type in windows search bar to find it) and search for MeshedVR folder. Click it and press delete key to remove it. If you really want to help me out to try to permanently solve this for everyone and prevent from having to do this in future, before deleting that folder, click the VaM folder underneath it. Then take a screenshot of the contents in the right panel and send it to me in PM or post here. It is one of the values in here that is messing everything up. I just don't know what because I can never get it to happen for me. Thanks!

Is possible to add calf to thigh collision for the next update? When the calf presses against the thigh. the calf passes through. Also the “thigh gap” area stretches and deforms funny when you, for example, lift up the legs while she’s laying on her back. It would be cool to see a more realistic deformation. I can imagine how hard it is to fix and add though. Just wondering if it’s possible! Great job either way!

I can't really fix thigh to calf collision without killing how far you can bend the lower leg. There is no soft body physics in this area to deform the calf which is what should really happen, but that is too compute expensive to justify adding until compute power goes up by a factor of 5 or so. Maybe someday we will have entire body soft tissue simulated properly with hard zones where bones are near surface. If you have certain morphs dialed in the thigh/hip won't be as realistic. Future plans for using DAZ Genesis 3 models which IMO bend a little bit better than the Genesis 2 models I'm using now. So future will hopefully be better.

Yeah actually have a LOT more options now that DAZ changed their licensing. Some vendors didn't have game-dev licenses before, but now nearly every asset is available.

Hello all! I just installed the 1.3 Version, ran the first setup file and stuck now in the start screen where it shows "READY". If i click on the READY or elsewhere nothing happend. I tried it already on both controller of my HTC VIVE without success. It would be great if someone could help me. Thanks in advance.

Yes - download the files pointed to above and place into Saves/scene directory where you installed VaM.

As soon as i started playing your demo I knew, this is the start to excellence im sure youll be adding more hair, girls, blah blah but the Number one thing I want to know is, will you be making this game compatable with certain face scanning modeling software like FaceGen?

Hello, When i use the key, i still end up with a box on the menu that says "upgrade to creater to unlock more options". Can anyone help me with why that happens?

Did you install VaM into Program Files area by any chance? VaM tries to write to key.json in the directory where VaM is installed. If you put into admin-projected directory that write would fail. Look for key.json in the root folder where VaM.exe. You should see the creator key you entered in there alongside the free key that starts with "F".

I figured it out. My anti virus gave it no protections. just had to white list it for that folder. Thanks for the help! :D

Is it necessary to install the previous creator keys or do I just need the latest version?

Only latest version. Key version matches with software version you download. Latest is 1.3 for both.

I paid $8 for the creator version and I am using that key and in the menu it is still telling me to get the creator version for more content. Help!

Hi! I paid 8$ for the creator version, but I don't see where I can put the key. When the game says ready, it immediately goes into the game and in it it says I still have to unlock the creator version. Sorry it's probably a dumb question.

It is on the main screen (not in VR). Enter it there, and then you should have creator option in the menu.

having an issue where i cannot click on the ready button after entering the code on the main menu. I see the red orb and the controller is tracking, the laser trace from the controller is showing but trigger doesn't work? Is there place for formal support. The trigger is working in the Steam menu, just not Virt-a-mate. Please help. ty

Here is the fix until I get this permanently fixed in 1.4: Run VaM Config (which is next to main VaM.exe in the folder you installed into. In the dialog box, select resolution of 1024x768 (don't worry this only affects the desktop window size) and then hit play. You should now be able to click on the ready button in VR.

Your 1.3 keys will only work on version 1.3 of the game.
