It was a guffaw. A barely contained explosive laugh which she tried to stifle as it came out but was  unable to. It was a bit ugly and a bit rude but in that moment surprise, joy, and delight all tried to flood out at the same time. Maria grinned. This was her office building only now it was just thigh high to her. She looked around at downtown from her now lofty position. She was the one who had grown to an immense size. The skyscrapers crowded around her legs as she sought to place her feet in the too small streets. Already having stepped on a few buildings (a strip mall, a grocery store, maybe a couple of bars and town houses) she shrugged. It wasn’t her fault, there just wasn’t enough room for her feet. Now she stood in front of the office building she worked in. *Had worked in. It was one of the larger skyscrapers and a thick, heavyset building. Window space was at a premium for all the office workers inside. She was sure that many of them were now crowing those windows to get a glimpse of her. She was going to bring it down. Stretching up her knee she planted her foot on the roof and gave those little pricks in there a show: she was going commando. Slowly stepping down she felt the roof begin to crumple under her pumps. She almost squealed in delight as her foot slowly dropped through the structure floor by floor, leaving a huge gash down the side of the building. The structure held firm but the insides were exposed.  She leant down to take a look at the damage she’s already caused. There were people hanging from the edges of the broken floors and others trying to help them but they were all too small to pick out any faces. Still she couldn’t help herself, “Awww, bad day at the office?” She let out another bellowing guffaw before she stood back up, grabbed the tower by its sides, and threw the whole thing to the ground.
