I imagine the only reason you haven't seen Jane threaten to mutilate Vincent several times throughout the story is because this is the first scene of the comic they've shared together. Since the nature of TRW revolves around the characters getting it on, you won't find many that actually don't like each other. I mean really don't like each other. In an unsexy way. Casey, for example, has friction with other characters but could still be persuaded into bed with just about any of her adversaries with some effort. (In fact I think Trish is the only enemy she hasn't slept with at this point.) Not so with Jane and Vincent here. Jane wouldn't touch his junk with a ten foot pole. And if she offered to, Vincent would be right to suspect a trap.

Meanwhile Lydia and Halver seem to have some issues of their own to address! Hope you guys are interested in where this goes in the coming pages. I feel like I've been waiting forever to get into the relationship between these two.

Lydia going for the low blow.

I mean. Do crawlers have a school of psychology in the red world? It's not like the poor guy can get a degree. Maybe he can just get lessons from switch?

Who even Is Vincent? I can't figure out why he looks familiar since I don't remember anything he's done.

Also, you're absolutely right that I want the 411 on Lydia and Halver.

Squid Hills

He's the guy who has shown up like twice, in the sort-of background, with his cell phone always making a call. That's mostly all we know about him at this point.

I see Lydia is blunt, as in "blunt force trauma". But with words.

HungryOuroboros

Lydia is technically correct; A psychiatrist is a medical doctor who can perscribe medications, and Halver (I assume) cannot do that. I would also guess that he isn't a licensed therapist, but I'm sure he's doing his best. It's also very interesting to see Halver in a less dominant (though not submissive) position in the relationship, as opposed to Switch with Casey and Isaac.

"Trish the only rival Casey hasn't slept with" So you're saying there's a chance?

Kyman201

Given how much of Crawler interaction with the human world appears to come from projecting into a human mind, it may be that they can witness certain things more clearly than human therapists, but even then they can only make notes like "I can literally see that you're stressed and lying to yourself, and that's not helping"

I haven't committed anything to canon, but what I'm going with is that he projected into the minds of those reading relevant material. Take that with a grain of salt, might change it later if that would cause me problems lore-wise.

If he projected into Ann's mind, that might explain a few things.

Reinbach

He has a very different role in crawler society than Switch, so I'm glad that's coming through in the writing! :)

If I could put the Jim Carrey "So you're telling me there's a chance" meme right here I would. XD
