The spells system has been reworked in RogueLove. Spells are divided into Cantrips and Spells now, Cantrips being the grey set. Cantrips are fairly weak compared to spells, but can be cast infinitely (aside from the 2 healing cantrips). This lets the player use Cantrips on an Intelligence based character so they don't have to rely on the Strength stat at all for combat, if they so choose. Additionally, as the character levels up, more damage dice will be added to the Cantrips.

The higher level spells now cast a completely different spell, instead of a powered up version of the same spell. Spells cost MP, and deal huge damage, so they can be used as bombs in tight situations. There is a fourth level of spells planned, but they will not be included in the next version.

The new version of RogueLove will be ready later on today, as soon as the last of the new spells are finished.
