RogueLove; New Monster Previews (Patreon)

Introducing two the newest enemy for RogueLove, firstly the Corrupted Fauness. The two color shifted variants are planned harder versions for later floors. Second is the Rat, with 4 types currently planned.

The Fauness has new attack behaviour, and will not simply chase the player down. She will attempt to line herself up with you at a distance, and strike with her whip if you are in her attack zone for long enough. Future variants will attack quicker, multiple times, and may leave you with status afflictions when hit. Also, getting hit by a Fauness' whip will deal HP damage, as well as some Lust damage. Harder difficulties will deal a higher ratio of Lust to HP damage.

The Rats will scurry around mostly along the sides of walls, but will randomly change direction when they hit an obstacle/creature. Brown rats will only run around and be an annoyance, where harder difficulty rats will try to bite when colliding with the player. Fire rats will deal contact damage, and Toxic rats may poison the player when biting.

Hobgoblins are a harder form of Goblin, found in the Great Halls. They wear sturdier armor, and some even carry weapons imbued with fire.
Hobgoblin Magi are a harder form of Goblin Shaman, found in the Great Halls. Although they don't soak up much more damage than their weaker counter parts, they wield much more dangerous magic. Mostly fire based spells, these tend to follow odd patterns, and are harder to dodge than direct spell casting.
