2D in 3D Perspective (Patreon)

Here's a fun little tidbit for my Patrons who are interested in the development end.

Pulling back the curtain a bit, you can see how 2D images are overlayed on top of 3D actors creating the 2.5D perspective you see in the last post.

The slight angle you see is opposite the camera view angle, creating the flat 2D appearance of sprites, despite them being 3D actors in reality.

You can also see the starter character of RogueLove topless, note that this is the smallest breast size in the game. Certain factors (lineage, shrines) can change this value, changing the sprite image displayed.
