Hey guys, so I found an artist on CG trader with really high quality anime girls for fairly cheap. I'm thinking about buying a few but I'm hesitant only because if I start buying a bunch of random models from random places it might create a weird style.

What I might do is use some of the artists other models to begin creating new girls, these models have really nice looking faces and bodies and tons of hair options. Might be worth it, what does everyone think?

It's definitely something I'm considering for the future, the only other problem as I see it is the more complicated the models get the less adaptable they are. The current art style is very adaptable and let's me make new models fairly quick, also the main objective right now is more game play.

The art looks really nice, but you don't want to end up with several characters with different art styles. Consistency is key and it appears the toon shader used would not match your environment assets. Would you change the character shaders to match the environment or change the environment shaders to match the toon characters?

That's basically one of my fears, also being unable to adapt the new style when making new girls, for example there's no spider girl so I'd be mixing styles trying to create the spider body. I think I decided today that if I ever change the style I'll be hiring someone to do it, as well as make new girls. For the time being I'll continue as I've been doing them, I'm pretty happy with how Lamia turned out.

It's an understandable fear, while I do love the model for this catgirl, and I'm a guy who appreciates a good catgirl, I wouldn't want you to trade consistency over it. So far the game is looking good, and I do like the Lamia you posted recently.
