"Die Hard with a Vengeance" is a must watch, it's got a little different "feel" than the first two, but it's a great action movie, and I clearly rate it above part 2. I don't care much for the rest of the franchise, not terrible, but - IMO - a significant drop in quality.

Personal screens on planes would have been introduced in the early 2000's, with the advent of LCD monitors becoming more mainstream. Bruce Willis Comedy Movies: The Whole Nine Yards (also staring Matthew Perry). Death Becomes Her (with Goldie Hawn and Merryl Streep). Hudson Hawk (with Andie McDowel and Richard E Grant).

Diehard With Avengence (3) is amazing, everyone needs to see it, if you like computers and hacking then Diehard 4.0 is good as well, I like it, avoid 5 completely, I watched 5 and still can't see the point of it.....

I enjoyed this movie a lot more before I worked in the airline industry. 😁 As others have mentioned, much of this was debunked. Every flight has an alternate landing airports if they run low on fuel. Also, I actually manage crews that work in bag rooms, where the bags go after you check them. Except for the steam, that early scene was fairly accurate...just add more bag belts and more bags.
