Oh, you're curious about jury duty? Good thing the excellent classic, "12 Angry Men", currently at spot 5 on IMDB, is just about that! (It's one of the three films of the Top 20 that you haven't watched yet.) Considering your comments here, it'd make for some really interesting conversations in the reaction. Or after it.

Assuming they don't go into more detail in this episode, pseudoephedrine "pseudo" is needed to make meth. It's an ingredient in some over the counter drugs. In the early 2000s, the US government passed a bill requiring pharmacies to keep track of sales which made it much harder for meth cooks to stockpile it.

This show really is low key hilarious. Hank with the talking pillow😂😂

Yeah, Sudafed is sold OTC but if you buy too much from one store, it throws up red flags. It's an ingredient in meth if you're making it without proper ingredients apparently.

I really wanted to comment on stuff but I realized all my opinions on the show are influenced by what comes later. I’m going to continue watching because the show is amazing and I haven’t ever rewatched it fully, but probably won’t be commenting much just in case my opinions come off as spoilers. Enjoy the ride!

Simone has heard the name Heisenberg before, being a TNG nerd. Heisenberg's eponymous Uncertainty Principle states that we cannot know both the position and momentum of a particle, and the more certain we become about one, the less certain we end up about the other. It's a problem for Star Trek transporters (and maybe replicators?), because those need to rebuild things at the particle level, so they'd need to have control over such properties. To get around it, there's an unexplained "black box" in the bowels of transport systems called the Heisenberg compensator, and it's one of the bits of technobabble that shows up in episodes of Star Trek. O'Brien, Barclay, LaForge, Data - they sometimes had to work on it, and they even built it as a prop for the show, seen at the link here: Heisenberg_compensator

lmao, wow Simone! How insensitive to his people's history! xD Milhouse's dad, 100% someone to look up to, George. :P He doesn't want to be a burden on anyone. That's why he isn't wanting to accept charity. Pride is very important to someone who's fallen ill. It's one of the final things that they can control. This is coming from someone that's disabled and is in a wheelchair. xD Those buddies of his.. yikes! Fucking assholes. Ditching him at that moment is harsh as fuck. :P Walt Jr.'rs words hit HARD but he's speaking from the heart. Marie's words are also honest and her husband joining her side in the end only makes sense. Walter's wife is ONLY wanting her husband to be well. That's all that she's focused on. I've been a burden on others with my disability. My mother is well on her way to being in the same boat as she has HIV. I have no idea what she's going through physically but I can't imagine what it's like for her mentally. 100% George! This was his choice. That's a HUGE thing for people in that situation. xD Hank had his heart in the right place! He's using sports analogies to make sense of his feelings. xD I'm VERY glad that George can see this from Walter's POV! Obviously not for what happened but yeah, George can understand why he's the way he is. The talking pillow is 100% that, yeah, Simone. I really admire the show for having her character behave the way she is. NEXT EPISODE lmao, you two are great! The way this episode opens is pretty crazy. Walter's sickness while going through chemo is brutal! It's also very accurate. My ex wife's mother went through chemotherapy and it was a brutal time for her. VERY disheartening and tough for everyone involved. I've got no idea how it was for her but yeah, had to be very difficult. She's the only person that I've known personally that's gone through chemotherapy. Heisenberg doesn't take shit. He means business. Very happy that you're both enjoying this. Jesse's character will evolve and change throughout this series. I'm looking forward to seeing both of your takes on him and the rest of the cast as the show progresses! Looking forward to next week's episodes! :)
