Hell yeah, I know what I'm watching tonight. Agree on Dark City. It's as if The Matrix was a noir. Came out a year before The Matrix. There are a lot of details that are eerily similar, where I'm not convinced those are just coincidences. The Matrix also shot in the same studio in Australia and re-used some of Dark City's sets. It's really good.

Hopefully you guys eventually watch the karate kid part 2 and eventually reach cobra Kai

I AM STOKED to find this on here, this morning!!! HELL YEAH! xD Going to be firing it up in a bit. :)

This was def an inspiration for Heath Ledger's Joker. Even the scene where he confronts the main bad guy and his thugs is similar to Ledger's first major scene as Joker at the mob meeting. But this is a classic, and inspired so many movies that came after. And one of the best soundtracks ever.

The excitement I felt when I logged in and saw this post made my week! One of the best movies I ever experienced and I can't wait to watch it again with you guys!

They've been talking about remaking this for like 20 years. I'll believe it when I see it.

Chase Schleich

They've been more than talking. They've had scripts, they've had actors and they've had directors attached multiple different times and it has always fallen through, sometimes at the last second. They'll remake it eventually. I'd like to see Blumhouse be the company to do it. Good track record and they can do a lot with a small budget.

Now that you watched The Crow, watch SPAWN (1997), it has the same idea. Also Johnny Mnemonic (1995) is a futuristic movie that is a favorite of mine with Keanu Reeves, the tittle is catchy I know I know.

I love this movie. It's so beautiful. I love the heart that went intot his film. The 2nd one City of Angels, I didn't like it at all. It didn't have the same heart to it. Definitely just felt like a cash grab. The 3rd one I was alright though I suppose. Simone might be interested in the 4th one though. The Crow Wicked Prayer as it has David Boreanaz in it.

Bai Ling in the second Crank movie is something special, both of those movies crank 1 and 2 are insane action movies

“Devil’s Night,” around here we call it “Mischief Night” on the night before Halloween but it mostly involves throwing rolls of toilet paper into people’s trees or egging their cars.

Love this movie. But damn it’s tragic. Eliza Hutton was Brandon Lee’s fianceé. Eliza was on set with Brandon frequently on The Crow. Towards the last few days of filming she had to return to California to prepare for her wedding to Brandon. I wouldn’t bother watching the 3 sequels.

First time seeing this as an adult after avoiding it, so with no nostalgia going into it - it was better than I expected. My only criticism is that it didn't lean in to the camp like Sin City or others. At times it seemed like it was trying to take itself super seriously and it was too much of a whiplash from unintentional comedy... silly shit like the fire crow that no one else saw, and the gang members general behavior and then back to the dark serious brooding shit.

"Is this the Bronze?" This is what BtVS would look like it had been on HBO.

Also just an FYI that the Eliza mentioned at the end of the movie was the fiancé of Brandon Lee when the movie was released.

A great mid-ranger with great style and gives 0 effs about ripping off other films is Doomsday (2008). An amazing over-the-top Mad Max/Escape from NY/Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves mishmash, It also turned out be fairly socially relevant. Go with the Unrated cut if you can find it.
