Rejects (Patreon)

As the title suggests This post is mainly for Ideas that were scrapped but.. maybe have potential in the future.. MAYBE. 

So remember the Ref I made last post.. yeah of course I made I nude one. I 'm gunna be making more refs in the future so this was good practice anyway. 

I was really surprised about ha many people liked the Wolf from the last post too. If I've known that I probably would have polished this up.. but then again this was done before that. It started off as a lighting exercise. how things would look without color and how the shadows would work. honestly I sorta like this more cuz I liked the simplicity. 

While we're on the subject I actually had Thumbnails of the guy before agreeing on the final. But the ideas were still Saucy though. Also i wanted to test out a new Pencil brush I made that.. actually looks like a pencil so I may have went over board. 

So  it begins... I sorta wanted to save the Rex stuff for next month BUT this sorta fits the theme of the post of rejected ideas. like this was supposed to be part of a series of the Rex's morning routine of waking up but it... didn't feel strong enough of an idea. Also again , me showing off the new brush... it looks like i drew it in a sketch book, I cant get over it!

Now this was another thing that didn't go anywhere. This was when I first started the concept of the Rex and like.. trying to figure out what his Shtick was. So the first idea was him being a car enthusiast or something like that.. or a trucker? But I thought that was too macho or typical of a direction. I'm still trying to figure it out so thats why he seems like a Neutral grump right now...BUT i'll figure something out.

 But anyway I hope you guys are ready for next month at least. There is something interesting I wanted to do involving this guy but you'll see. But thats it for now but I'll see you guys on the next post!
