New Moves Update (V0.6.5)! (Patreon)

This month we have our followup to the cross promo with IntiMate by Vitki, as well as a bunch of new content to flesh out our combat system, collectibles and s*x scene!

Introducing Vitki!

Head on over to the Debug stage to meet a cute male bunny playing Virtual Reality! He'll give you some tips on how to use the enemy spawners and some lore tips as to how Kane  has a pocket digital dimension behind his gym. Spoilers, it's just a VR headset!

New Collectable Items!

All stages are now packed with spinning Jasonafex emblems that you can collect in chains to produce a satisfying explosion of sound, dazzle and points! Collect more than 10 in a small time frame to maximize the point multiplier and increase your reward!

New Moves: Butt Slam

Input: Down + Attack while in the air
Verge launches ass first to pound any enemies beneath him. Be careful not to hit the ground or you may be feeling tender in the morning!


New Moves: Drill Drive

Input: Down + Attack while in the air
Gen coils up and spirals through the air, hitting enemies multiple times on the way down! Can be held to extend the amount of spins before hitting the ground.

New Moves: Raptorcut

Input: Up + Attack while standing or in the air Verge can cancel his normal combo string into an uppercut that launches enemies skyward for airborne followups! Can be used again after a jump to juggle.

New Moves: Boot Slicer

Input: Attack x3 while standing
Replaces Gen's old combo ender (Flip kick, now assigned to up+attack). Gen winds up and then unleashes a devastating blow that knocks enemies to the ground!

New Moves: Ankle Slash

Input: Down + Attack

Replaces crouch slide for both characters (Now assigned to down + dash or diagonal down + attack). This offers a quicker option for swatting low enemies that can be changed into combos to extend your damage!

Big Gunt S*x Scene 2

Our big gator friend chicken wings the player from behind and serves them up a plate of knotted pleasure! Fast variant traps the arms for a rapid plapping pounding. Find all these new animations ingame and in the gallery!

Playable Character Vote Winner

Star of Double Trouble and Bounty Hunter in training, Jade the sabre cat has edged out Mortred and Baxter by 10 votes to make her the newest addition to the playable roster! We have moved into full swing to animate her moveset. Due to the amount of art we'll need to make for her update, it may take us more than the usual monthly update rotation to have her finished. We will release a smaller update next month while we work away at her big reveal!

Well the build says test in it so i think thats why it dont work

If password doesn't work, we can use the monthly user and password, where is the special login screen for that, in the game ?

I found the reason why password doesnt work, when i download from itch page..version is 0.6.4, not 0.6.5. if i go to this page : https://jasonafex.itch.io/bare-backstreets/devlog/279944/new-public-build-v065 The files list as uploaded but i can not download them

Password still shows as incorrect credentials. Just giving a heads up. Bottom right shows v0.6.5 but the pass still shows as wrong.

password worked perfectly fine for me, but im having a different issue. every time the game goes through a loadscreen it forgets my display settings (i play on 1600 x 900 windowed), it keeps setting me back to 1920 x 1080 fullscreen. anybody else or just me?

Alright, I found a way for it to work for me. Had to completely delete the existing files, redownload the game again, and then the password worked.

when i starrt up the game it starts in the first page then it starts bugging out

The build has been updated, redownload, it does work now

I was able to fix the "invalid password" by uninstalling, deleting all of the current files, downloading a fresh zip and reinstalling the new one. Password worked like a charm

ive uninstalled and reinstaled three times now and every time somthing goes wrong with the load up screen

Sorry about that! We patched this build the following day, so anyone having trouble logging in should be able to if they redownload this build.

Hi Jason! Sorry to poke, but has the MAC version been repaired yet? I read the above comments and tried to delete all previous versions and redownload, but now I can't redownload any previous versions and the MAC one for V6.5 still says that the file is damaged and can't be opened.

Something similar happens to me, at least you get the menu to me only the loading screen and it closes

I downloaded the newest version of the game and no matter what I do (whether it be put in the patreon password or try the public build) it just closes the game on me

Hi Chase! The Mac version was patched on the 2nd so if you redownloaded recently it should be working. If not, We'll have another look at it!

aaaaaaaand we're back to nothing but crashes. cannot play, every time I launch, it instantly crashes and brings me back to the home screen. Last update that's still playable is V6.1

The windows download still isn't working. I've tried redownloading it a few times over the past month. I can download it and start the app but it crashes before it reaches the home screen

Hi Jasonafex. I have had zero luck getting this game to open it always crashes and starts playing the music as soon as i log in on the windows version. Mind you games in their beginner phases always have their bugs. Just thought it was worth mentioning as I am keen to try out this game

Experiencing the exact same problem nearly everyone else here is, the game crashing on start-up. This game is unplayable for EVERYONE.
