Hi Fluffy Friend♥


Today i like to show you how i make the models i use in my games,

lets start with something pretty simple...

A Perfume Spray Bottle :D

Why i need that you may ask? Short answer it is for Frost, Long answer is down there in the spoiler area!

Just that you know that video is without sound :x

Now i start with shaping out the basic form of what i want to model, there are a million and one way to do anything in 3d and for Hard surface models i use 3ds max, for something more organic i use ZBrush.


The First part of this video is Modeling, the second is Rigging (Preparing for animation).

In the Rigging process i first create control points (bones) that are used to transform the model.

So a Animation is stored in just rotational values of the (Bones) in relation to the Parent Bone.

If you are interested in this topic modeling and Rigging, i plan on doing a in deph course that explains to you all the details!

You may wonder for what the Bottle is used,

Mistress Frost will give it to you at the very beginning, it has a liquid inside that makes npc's behave differently depending on what you spray on.

Normal npc's need one Spray to "Belong to you" Higher ones like Mistress Frost or the Queen need much more,

You get a "Spray" or better said some liquid if you pay mistress frost for it, or if you impregnate a Female successfully.

It is an integral part if the endless Gameplay of Frost, it also helps you to shape your own world and change the behavior of the npc's.

(Every additional "Spray" increases the Level of a character)

The Very first "Spray" decides what type a npc will be in your world.

It has some debug options for the beginning, and the Lower part is only aviable if you spray the NPC Intself!


This system won't be fully enable in the next release, but partially there because i like to give you the spray bottle right from the start so that you get a better feeling on how frost plays and what i want to do with it.
