This week I did a few things, mostly programming and shader related.

Starting off kinda boring, I started finalizing the controls, and adding controller support. The run button now needs to be held down, instead of being a toggle, and over all the controller should work to play the game.

I also worked on some stuff with materials. I was looking at a way of making objects disappear and reappear, or changes states, but not instantly. I put together a material that would allow objects to basically do a wipe from one texture or material setting, to another.

For Example:

Here is how it looks in the material editor:

The Parameter "Vertical Position" is edited by a blueprint to achieve the effect.

One use for this would be a character getting dunked in water, and only appearing wet up to the point they went in.

Another could be disappearing and reappearing clothing..... You guys remember the Witcher 2 bath scene.

I also went and made a standing tribb animation for Meridiana and the Incubus. I feel like standing would be a better transition for another animation I want to add.

That animation can be seen here: http://imgur.com/Fktcrbm

Finally, besides continueing to fix bugs, I also looked at freezing not just enemies, but objects with a time stop spell. I think that would make a neat puzzle. I tried to take a screen shot of everything frozen, but it ended up just looking like a regular screen shot.

That's about it for this week, as always I'd love to hear and feedback, questions, concerns, etc.

Love the Vertical Positioning and all the other polishing too! It's the details that make the difference. As banal as that sounds, they really do. Sexy = Engaging = Context = World building. I'm guessing that is why game character's pron as so popular. Regardless, this sounds like a great progress worth supporting ))

Urm, your first two screenshot are not available, even when I tried to open it in a new link

sorry, it must not like them cause they're giant gifs. The whole folder is here: http://imgur.com/a/zfDl6

Continuing my quest to deduce Meridiana's racial heritage, I couldn't help but notice she has very similar ears to the incubus. Could it be that she has a demon hiding in her family tree? Texture wipe looks promising, I'll be curious to see how it looks in game on waterlogged clothes. As for the time-stop, have you considered putting a visual effect on frozen enemies/objects? Maybe something akin to chronological frost. I recall using the spell in the testing area and it was, as you observed, hard to tell what was affected by it. (It was also a little unnerving to see all the goblins turns to face you, despite being frozen.)

You are a keen deducer! Goblins shouldn't be turning when they're frozen anymore, but I'll take a look at it!

the standing tribadism scene looks kinda strange, like her whole mound is sticking out
