Making the big Ds fit! (Patreon)

One of the problems with the minotaur, and with the Ogre in the past, was that they have extremely large dicks, and my female models just can't handle it.   

There's a limit to how far I can stretch the models, and though I've learned more and can make the future models stretch more, there is always gonna be a limit.  

We've started reaching extreme wieners, and so there needs to be a little give in order for everything to looks like its working.

So far the best solution I have is squeezing the dick a bit as it goes in.

If you do it too much, it looks a little silly, but it'll help get those dongs that are just a bit too big for the model to handle without breaking.

As you can see from the node network, this took a little bit of trial and error to get working.

It started off by scaling down the bones as they crossed a threshold.  I wouldn't scale them on the vertical axis, just the horizontal.  It started out okay, but didn't quite look right to me.

This looked alright, but its was more conical then I wanted.  So I adjusted, and had the bones scale on all axis, so hopefully things would shorten a bit, and I'd lose the cone shape.

It took more tweaking to get it to the finished state.  Now in addition to scaling the bones on all axes, the bone that is just outside the squish is slightly scaled out a bit, to make it look like its compressing.  It also helps keep the shape less cone like!

Final Result

Overall I'm happy enough with the effect.  We'll have to see how it ends up looking in engine though.  Now that I'm finished figuring this out, I can go ahead and start rigging the Minotaur.

I don't know if any of this is interesting, but it was something that I thought I'd show!
