Hey there, everyone,

As the name suggests, I'm here to both keep you guys updated on the current Jun update as well as to give you the option to pick which one you think is best for the next series of CGs.

Due to an issue with the payment processor, my payment for this month was held back by a bank in Brazil and still hasn't been cleared. Because of that, I've been rushing to get all the documents they needed as well as selling some personal effects of mine to be able to cover rent and basic bills (sadly didn't have enough money in my savings to cover all that). That put a dent in how much I'd been able to work during the last four days. I'm still rushing to try and get this update all finished in time, but it'll probably be down to the wire. If things are a few hours late, that is why.

As for the poll update, Nyaruh is working on a series of CGs showing busts for the three main characters where you can see POV shots of them smiling/kissing to be used whenever there are kisses. The reason being that I can't get customized art for EVERY kiss scene, but I also want to have something to show for them other than just text.

However, that brings forth an interesting conundrum: should the characters be looking up/down to account for their height difference to Yuuichi or should they be looking straight ahead and at the camera/player to improve immersion? I do have my own preference, but since you guys are the ones I want to please the most, I'll let you guys decide!

To clarify (since some people were confused): these are for CGs, not sprite reworks or anything of the sorts. The characters will be shown at the center of the screen and on their own. They won't be replacing any art currently on the game or anything like that!

I'll leave the poll up for 24 hours (mostly so I can get back to Nyaruh real quick and not leave her hanging).

I do think the sprites looking up/down are a little bit weird but it's nice to have something different so I'm choosing that. Also I'm very sorry for what you've been going through, I'll be praying you can overcome this well

Oh, again, these aren't for sprites. Like the title says, they're for CGs. Maybe I should edit the post to make that much clearer?

I like seeing different angles than just front facing. In semi cgs it would make them even more special

Oh, I did understand they were just busts but by the end of the text it slipped my mind and I thought they were sprites, lol I don't know if this will happen to anyone else or just me

Jeez, I'm sorry to hear stuff isn't going well on your end Basket, I hope the banks stop being ineffective (to say the least) and give you your hard earned money. Concerning the CGs tho, the eyes staring straight at you makes my heart flutter ngl

Regarding facing up or down, I'd say that we'd probably have a different perspective than the one seen here, but that it's still a nice, unique change. I really hope that you are able to make ends meet; it genuinely sucks to hear that you're in financial trouble like that.

I absolutely would love to have a perspective-based CG. Deeper immersion, stronger features. It's a complete win. If the artist is capable of it, we'd all be winners for it.

i vote for looking forward because, that little smile makes me happy and by the down looking it is not so strong. banks can be some times a real pain

Words. Difficult things. (This is why I'd be a bad writer) Anyway, if the boys are changing where they look during these moments, it helps to scale just how tall they are. If I'm understanding correctly, this would be for more generalized kissing moments. Seeing them as Yuuichi would helps immersion.

Looking up/down would be fine if you were able to change the angle of the scenery to match whether you, Yuuichi, would be looking up or down at the character. I think looking straight ahead would the best option.

This is their story , so i will tend to be looking up/down.

The ones looking up/down make sense, but don't exactly work since the screen is still intended to be Yuu's perspective. Even if you put them further up/down on the screen, it still won't quite look like they're looking at him unless they're also looking at the screen. Not entirely sure how you can pull that off myself...
